Motor Claims Handlers - Full-time / Part-Time - About the role
My client specialises in Motor Insurance Claims Handling and are actively seeking highly motivated, enthusiastic and organised individuals with a 'can do’ attitude to join busy and expanding Technical Claims Handling teams.
The ideal applicants will have solid Third Party Motor Claims Handling experience, with knowledge of MOJ protocols, Indemnity checking procedures, current case law and assessment of personal injury valuation and negotiations.
Motor Claims Handlers - Full-time / Part-Time - Key duties
Maintaining allocated caseload of claims
Taking claims from the FNOL team and initially highlighting any areas of concern with regard to potential large losses or cases of concern from a fraud perspective.
Completing indemnity enquiries in order to ascertain levels of exposure.
Where required negotiating settlement of personal injury claims (following thorough research of all facts and dissection of medico-legal evidence)
Appointing panel solicitors, enquiry agents, engineers and loss adjusters whilst maintaining close control of cases referred on.
Review and control of claimant litigated cases
Motor Claims Handlers - Full-time / Part-Time - Key requirements
Experience working within the Motor Claims arena (Loss Recovery, Credit Hire Defence, Personal Injury, and Large/Complex claims) would be highly advantageous, however, full training will be given, and applications are welcomed from candidates with experience from other areas of claims.
