PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR

BIRMINGHAM

Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to join our finance team based in our Birmingham office. The primary function of the Payroll Administrator is to provide support with the administration and processing of the UK monthly payroll.

Candidate Overview

We're looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and hard working individual who has great attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

Main duties:

  • To ensure the monthly payrolls are delivered accurately and on time for all Pinsent Masons employees.

  • Dealing with all aspects of payroll processing including starters, leavers, salary increases, adjustments, secondments and pensions.

  • Processing changes to employee's data and records (permanent and variable) including P45's, starter checklists, tax codes changes, P6's, Student Loans, AEOs, DEAs, DEOs and voluntary deductions.

  • Collating and inputting overtime reports as provided by HR Shared Services.

  • Checking and verifying all data input to payroll for processing.

  • Issue welcome emails to new joiners, including access to e-payslips/payslip app.

  • Dealing with payroll/salary and benefits related queries from current and ex-employees, internal departments, 3rd parties and various governmental bodies including HM Revenue and Customs.

Qualifications:

  • A good standard of education including A level/GCSE Maths and English Language.
  • It is not essential that a recognised payroll related training/qualification is held but it may be advantageous for the right candidate.
